Florida Wine Tasting is a wine education service specializing in home or office events. We offer a very unique and personalized introduction to a wide variety of wines from multiple regions. Our primary focus is on private, in-home events of small to medium size held throughout Sarasota County and surrounding regions in Southwest Florida. We also provide services for fund raising events.
Florida Wine Tasting is organized and led by
Ted DeVirgilis, a wine connoisseur in Venice, Florida, who has been leading wine tastings for over thirty five years. Ted has served as an educator for the American Wine Society and has taught Wine Education at the university level. He has also won several awards for wine and champagne making, including awards from the National Conference of the American Wine Society.
Whether your desire is for a fun, casual evening enjoying summer patio wines, a formal walk through the flavors of Tuscany, or a sampling of exotic wines extending from South Africa to South America, Ted DeVirgilis and Florida Wine Tasting will plan an enjoyable, customized event for you and your guests.
